A Leap Of Faith
11/08/2010
Dear Gazette, Following Kirsten's letter in July, it's encouraging to see that young families are moving to Purbeck! I agree that one of the benefits of living on the Isle of Purbeck is the sense of community. Steph Bradley from Transiton Tales Totnes has been walking the ancient paths and lanes around this country, staying with local people and picking up stories about each community she visits.

Boscombe Surf Reef Is A Long Way From Swanage

Dear Editor, I hope you’ve enjoyed your accolades – I’m sure The Gazette will go from strength to strength; may be you’re in line to edit the Bournemouth Echo one day, but I put my trust in the fact that you’d rather be sat in a dark little office in Swanage, than in a computerised, coffee-machined, beige carpeted hole in Bournemouth!
